What is the Best Wifi Antenna to buy to get maxium range on my hotspot?

What is the Best Wifi Antenna to buy for the greatest distance. I have a neighborhood hotspot but my range is very limited i am using and omni-directional antenna mounted on the side of my building.



I want to extend my range as far as possible.



Also is there a device that wall extend the range like some type of amp of something....

1. It depends on the hotspot that how high dpi anteena it can support, look inside the manual and fix the higher dpi which it can support

2. There are indeed ways to improve this you have to stay within the limits (FCC in the US) that are established. Amps are available the bi-directional smart amps are the best ones.

   The omni should be commercial grade not purchased from your local store. (in most cases)
   
   
   
   Or you can get commercial grade routers with the power built into them. AirEpochs wireless gateway is the lower end - cost wise - of these devices. Your off the self routers are not the best for hot spots.
