What type of cable to use for wifi antenna?
I want to extend the range of my wifi router. I plan to relocate one of the antenna of my wifi router Linksys WRG54G by attaching a cable to the antenna and connecting it to the router. Can I just use a coaxial cable that is used for cable tv? What are the implications, if any?

- That's the wrong cable. You most likely need one with a connector called "reverse-polarity TNC" to mate with your Linksys. They're not too hard to find. But beware of trying to use a long cable - at the frequencies involved, losses in the cable are quite high. You may be better off replacing the antenna with a higher gain one such as this:
